Chief Information Officer.
Ram has twenty+ years of experience in the IT field. He has been the architect of the IT infrastructure for one of the largest IT distribution companies in India. He has implemented ISO 9001 certification as well.
He played a key role in designing, training & maintaining the IT infrastructure including the high- availability of LAN / WAN network, maintenance of Data center, implementing security solutions like Firewall, IDS, VPN, and UTM across 40 various locations across the country. These solutions enabled high availability of ERP network.
His Security solutions were considered in par with ISO security standards 27001. With his domain knowledge & experience, he designed & successfully implemented 200 seat contact centre for HP.
He has worked in various companies like TCS & Godrej & Boyce (E & E division). In Godrej, he successfully handled many power projects and shared many responsibilities including safety of Electrical services. In April 1986, Ram moved to the role of heading the Telecommunication dept. He helped in building the entire Godrej group telecom network spanning the entire country. He implemented ISO 9001 certification for Telecommunication services within the organization.
In 1996, he left Godrej after working for 15 years he joined SEC Communications as Director Technical. Here, he was responsible for strategic business alliances between SEC & VTEL for Video Conferencing system & General Signals for Data communication products. In SEC, he was responsible for setting and shaping up the company’s product development & services in the Indian market. With-in a span of 2 years SEC become one of best distributors of video conferencing products.
In 2001, he joined Redington India, one of largest IT distributor in India as IT – Consultant. Ram played a strategic role in restructuring the entire Telecom & IT infrastructure, which resulted in quantum leap in Business development & overall growth of the Company.
Since 1991 Ram has been an independent consultant helping companies implement network infrastructure. .
