Richard Muscio, CPA
Richard was the first CPA in San Diego County to specialize in estate and gift tax planning. His CPA firm Friedman Brannen Associates remains San Diego County’s pre-eminent estate planning CPA firm.
Richard is also the creator of “Family Office CFO Support,” a comprehensive program for maintenance of wealth transfer plans for high-net worth families.
Richard assists Indevia Accounting with marketing, customer service, and development of services that are unique to CPA firms and small to medium-sized businesses.
Richard is on the Board of Trustees for the Monterey Museum of Art and he is the Founder of the Oceanside Turkey Trot, a Thanksgiving morning 5k that benefits physical fitness programs for Oceanside city school students.
He is also founder of the Virginia Ann Scheunemann Memorial Fund, a local charity that assists low-income and uninsured women with cancer in acquiring cancer care products.
For fun Richard plays baseball and tennis and he is a long-distance endurance runner.
